There was nothing I didn't like.

Step out the door and explore the beautiful town. With its central location, we couldn't have asked for a better spot. Walking to the castle and cable car was a breeze, and the train station was just a short distance away.

The hotel could improve on their welcome service as we didn't receive assistance in drying our wet belongings upon arrival. However, this minor setback didn't overshadow the overall positive experience we had at this charming establishment.

Excellent breakfast with fresh juice, hot dishes, fruits, and cereals. Bike rental available for a reasonable price. Beautiful town with majestic mountains and green valleys. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms.

I had an amazing time fishing in Lienz, thanks to the helpful information and advice provided by the owner of Hotel Sonne. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the town, allowing me to easily access the old town and the beautiful Drau river. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing space after a day of fishing. The hotel also had amenities specifically catering to guests on an active vacation, such as a drying room for sports clothes and equipment. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a variety of options to fuel up for a day on the water. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Hotel Sonne for any fishing enthusiasts visiting Lienz.

I recently stayed at Hotel Sonne for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a restful sleep each night. The hotel's breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options. The location was perfect - a quiet area, yet close to numerous attractions and outdoor activities like biking and mountain climbing. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I also loved the rooftop balcony for relaxing with a drink and enjoying the beautiful views. Finally, the convenience of parking right in front of the hotel was a bonus.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel in the center of a small town. The staff was friendly and provided us with all the information we needed. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were cozy. Additionally, the breakfast included a machine that made freshly squeezed orange juice, which was a great touch.

All aspects of our stay were fine; no improvements needed.

Liked the location of the hotel, close to the train station and the town center. Rooms were clean and comfortable and included a delicious breakfast. the sauna and gym were also a plus.

Disliked the sewer smell from the bathroom drains in the morning. There were few reserved parking spaces available and we had to park in a pay lot.

We spent three nights at Sonne and loved every minute. The breakfast included was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh food. The bikes provided were in great condition and allowed us to explore the picturesque bike track along the river. The hotel's central location made it easy to access bars, restaurants, and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooftop seating area offered stunning views of the town. a very nice hotel with modern rooms, comfortable beds, and a delightful atmosphere.
