The location of the hotel is a major advantage. It is situated directly near a big mountain, providing breathtaking views from the balcony. Additionally, it is conveniently located next to the Untersberg cable car & bus stop, making it easy to hop on a bus into Salzburg.

The noise levels in the hotel can be quite high, making it difficult for light sleepers to get a good night's rest.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. The location couldn't be better, nestled right under the majestic mountain. The service was impeccable, from the friendly and helpful staff to the efficient housekeeping and laundry services. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome drink upon arrival, setting the tone for our stay. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed, from ironing facilities to a well-stocked mini-bar. We also enjoyed spending time on the terrace, soaking in the beautiful surroundings.

I was amazed by the breathtaking view from my balcony at Hotel Untersberg. The room was clean and spacious, providing me with all the comfort I needed. The hotel's location was ideal, allowing me to easily explore Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. The on-site restaurant had delicious food at affordable prices, especially the mouthwatering desserts. The breakfast spread was impressive and catered to all tastes. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as a lack of AC and a noisy location during a party, my overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

Spent Christmas at a hotel surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains. the breakfast was perfect with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. the location was perfect for exploring nearby towns and cities.

The room was hot and stuffy, and there were no options to control the temperature. Unfortunately, we were not warned of the noisy celebrations that took place on one of the nights, which disrupted our peaceful stay.
