We loved the convenient location for our train holiday, just a short walk from the train station. It was also perfectly situated near Mirabell Garden, allowing us to explore the beautiful park and reach the old town easily. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a large shower, hot water, and cold AC in our spacious room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the on-site wine garden restaurant provided delicious food and a pleasant outdoor atmosphere. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered a variety of options including cereals, juice, tea/coffee, cold meats, and cheeses.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

Abbiamo apprezzato l'accoglienza gentile e la colazione ricca, con croissant, frutta fresca e focaccia. Inoltre, il giardino esterno era molto bello e c'era la possibilità di utilizzare il barbecue e il forno a legna.

L'unico aspetto negativo riguarda il rumore proveniente dalla strada principale, ma con le finestre chiuse non si sentiva nulla.

I booked a one-night stay at Hotel Zum Hirschen for a quick visit to Salzburg. The room had a charming, old-school décor with a deer/forest theme and a very comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and multilingual, speaking German, English, and Italian flawlessly. The location was convenient, within walking distance from the central station. excellent value for a 4-star accommodation.

Great location near the train station and a short walk to the old town and parks. the hotel offered a fabulous breakfast with wonderful choices. the double-paned windows in the room effectively kept out the street noise.

The room got very hot at night, but the staff showed me how to work the air conditioning, which solved the issue.

We had a fantastic stay at Zum Hirschen in Salzburg. the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to Salzburg Hbf rail station, which was very convenient for us as we were traveling by train. the staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us during our stay. Daniela at reception was particularly friendly and welcoming. Our room was light and spacious, with a huge bathroom and plenty of fluffy towels. We were pleasantly surprised by the little touches, like the chocolates on arrival and the deer theme throughout the hotel. the proximity to the train station and the altstadt made it an ideal choice. We would definitely stay here again.

As a newlywed couple, we loved the quietness and comfort of our room facing the backyard. the hotel's location is also convenient, with a bus stop just a 3-minute walk away, providing easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. the room itself was well-equipped with amenities like a small balcony, mini bar, and an electric kettle for coffee or tea. the helpful staff at the reception desk provided us with valuable information about the city, including bus numbers, updated tourist spots, and traffic maps. it felt like staying in a boutique hotel rather than an ordinary one.
