We were pleasantly surprised by the stunning building from the 14th century that Altstadthotel Kasererbrau is housed in. As history buffs, we loved exploring the rooms and corridors filled with antiques and wood furniture. Our room, 212, had a lovely rustic style and the modern bathroom was clean. The breakfast served in the stunning room with gothic arches and old stones was delicious with a wide selection. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the old center with various restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel also had an elevator and a convenient parking area. we highly recommend this hotel for its historic charm, central location, and great value for money.

Our family has stayed at Altstadthotel Kasererbräu multiple times and we highly recommend it. the location is fantastic, right in the center of the old town within walking distance to many attractions. the staff is helpful and friendly, with English-speaking staff available. the Italian restaurant on the premises is a great convenience and they even managed to get us a table at a nearby fully booked restaurant. the hotel is clean and the breakfast offers a variety of continental options. the free Wi-Fi signal in the room was strong.

The complementary breakfast and access to an old cinema were unexpected perks of our weekend stay. We were located in the heart of the historic district, making strolls to cafes and shops incredibly easy. We spent our mornings people-watching on the narrow streets and our evenings soaking in the local culture.

The building was noticeably dated, and there was some wear and tear on the furniture and carpet. Though there was a fan provided, the room did seem to become stuffy on warmer days.

the Altstadthotel was beautifully decorated with stylish furniture reminiscent of noble homes from the past. the location was excellent, with famous cafes and numerous shops just a short walk away. the lady at the reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. the breakfast served was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the old cinema ambiance and authentic furniture. Staying here made me feel like I was transported to a historic place, and I appreciated the originality of the experience. the view from my room's window, overlooking the Fortress, was a cool touch.
