The hotel is in a great location and we were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a larger room upon arrival. The room was spacious and the bathroom was great. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi and air-conditioning worked well. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Some guests have reported a slight smell of horse pee in the nearby streets from the horse and buggy carts.

The pop-up-book views of Vienna, crowned by the spire and mosaic-encrusted roof of Stephansdom cathedral, were hands-down the best. Lamée was a two-minute stroll from Stephansplatz, five minutes from the Danube Canal and 10 minutes' walk from the Hofburg Palace's imperial treasures.
