The history at this place is absolutely mind-blowing! The pictures and info about the children in the hallway were super fascinating. Exploring the house and seeing the bookshelves was jaw-dropping. They let us check in early and upgraded our room. The whole place was well-maintained and had lovely touches from the past. The gardens were beautiful. Our room was perfect - clean, spacious, and bright. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Free parking was a bonus. A little walk to the town center but so worth it. And even though we didn't have breakfast, everything else about our stay was simply wonderful.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this historic house, once home to the Von Trapp family. the location is quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenery, yet conveniently close to the city. the staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast had a great variety of food. the house itself has been renovated and is comfortable, with pictures of the Von Trapp family everywhere. the entrance and lobby are stunning. I highly recommend staying here.

During our recent stay at Villa Trapp, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the history of the house and learning about the Trapp family. The property is beautiful, with a wonderful view and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were extremely comfortable and having a lift was a great convenience. Alex, the host, was exceptional and made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfasts were superb and we would highly recommend Villa Trapp for anyone looking for a special and unique experience.

As a fan of the film and the real von Trapp family, staying at Villa Trapp was a dream come true! The helpful staff, beautiful villa, and easy location made our stay incredibly enjoyable. We had a blast exploring the house and learning about the von Trapp family history. The breakfast in the original dining room was a highlight, and the internet access was great too. The fellow that checked us in was extremely helpful and made our experience even better. We couldn't recommend more this hotel.

As a couple, we loved the charming character and rich history of the hotel. The staff, especially Elizabeth, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in, Martina's room on the top floor, was excellent and the hotel was very clean and warm. We also enjoyed breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious.

This hotel has a lot of character, with the delightful double French windows and furniture that fits the villa's style. It's a great value for money, located just outside the city center, with a market a few steps away. The staff is fantastically helpful, and the breakfast, although not included in the room's rate, always offered some truly excellent homemade cake!

The Trapp family history is tastefully presented around the property. Alex, the host, is efficient and ensures a pleasant stay. The communal breakfast is delicious and sparks interesting conversations with other guests. The Sound of Music room is spacious. The location feels secluded yet accessible.

If you're a fan of the Sound of Music, Villa Trapp is an excellent place to stay. It's conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. the staff is friendly and the grounds are beautiful. the hotel offers a great mix of history and modern amenities, with small mementos of the von Trapp family throughout. the suite was well-appointed and the staff was knowledgeable about the villa's history. the location is quiet and secluded, perfect for a relaxing stay.

The aura of the time when the Von Trapp family lived there was totally cool. We walked on their paths through the villa and the park, feeling like we were part of history. The staff gave us awesome tips on sights and booked super fun excursions and tours for us. Plus, being able to learn all the important info about the Sound of Music film made us feel like true fans!

The only thing we would've asked for is a better nightlife scene nearby. As teenagers who love to party, it would've been rad to have some fun spots within walking distance from the villa.
