We chose this property because it was on the historical house tour we always attend. The house itself was a beautiful hidden gem on the island, with comfortable furnishing and personal family touches that made us feel at home. The location was great, with beautiful grounds and close proximity to Bridgetown. The staff, particularly Pamela the cook and Raffeal the waiter, were fantastic. We loved sipping rum punches on the veranda and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

The property was surrounded by lush greenery and offered a peaceful getaway from the busy streets. The friendly staff was always eager to help and made our stay comfortable. the large pool was a great hangout spot for my family, and we enjoyed the poolside drinks and snacks.

the rooms lacked basic amenities like a hairdryer and coffee/tea making facilities. We also struggled with the unreliable WiFi, which was frustrating as we had work obligations to attend to.

The location of the guest house is a bit remote, approximately half a mile down the drive to the local bus stop, which may not be convenient for those without a car. However, this allows for a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere away from the bustling city. Guests can still enjoy reggae buses with the locals for transportation and explore the outskirts of Bridgetown.

The swimming pool was reportedly filthy, which might be disappointing for guests looking forward to a refreshing swim.

I had the privilege of staying at Bellevue Plantation, a charming and beautiful property in an idyllic location. The suite I stayed in was spacious and had a large balcony, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The room was immaculately clean and the swimming pool was well-maintained.
