Spacious penthouse apartment with fantastic balcony and pool

The penthouse apartment at the Palms Resort was spacious with a fantastic balcony and view, perfect for relaxing. the private pool was a great addition to the secluded location. the outdated facilities and lack of on-site food and drink options were a downside to an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Quiet Area: Nestled in a peaceful corner of the island, our stay felt like a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. the tranquility of the surroundings was like a calming balm for the soul, allowing us to truly unwind and recharge.

Construction Noise: the work being done on the property during our stay created some disturbance, affecting the overall relaxation vibes of the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main shops, making it easy to access everything you need. You can either walk there or take a short car ride. The hotel is also close to the beach, just a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are basic but clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area is peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The bar by the pool offers delicious food and drinks, and the Rum Punch is a must-try. The balcony overlooking the pool provides a great view.

The bar at the hotel has limited operating hours, which can be a downside for those looking for a lively nightlife experience.

Spent two weeks in Barbados and had an amazing time! The hotel’s location was perfect - close to the beach and restaurants. The staff was friendly and always willing to help us plan our day trip around the island. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved having access to the kitchenette.

Our only issue during our stay was the mosquitoes in the room. It was hard to sleep at night with them buzzing about, and we had to constantly spray ourselves with bug spray. Also, the internet was spotty and only accessible in certain areas of the hotel. But overall, the hotel is a great value and we enjoyed our romantic escape in Barbados.
