The room had old-fashioned radiators that allowed control over temperature. Windows could be opened and closed as desired. The bathroom had a bidet, a rare luxury. Staff were genuinely friendly. Convenient location in the city center.

The hotel location is very convenient, as it is right in the heart of the city center. It's easy to walk to all tourist attractions and nearby restaurants. the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a big bathtub for relaxing in.

The hotel lacked Christmas spirit, despite it being the holiday season. There were no festive decorations or music, which made the atmosphere quite dull.

I recently stayed at Hotel Damier for a weekend getaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets were nice. The historic building added to the charm of our stay. The friendly staff went above and beyond by arranging food for us even though the kitchen was closed. The breakfast selection was great, with the option to choose hot cooked food. Our room, number 50, had a jacuzzi bath and lovely Clarins toiletries. Special mention to the receptionist and night porter for their exceptional service. The hotel's location was perfect, close to restaurants, bars, and the river.

It was a little old-fashioned, but in a charming way that added to the overall ambiance. The renovated old wing offered modern comfort while still retaining its grandeur and style. The new wing was perfect for the modern business traveler like myself, with a choice of rooms and suites that catered to my every need. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was of excellent quality. The restaurant was absolutely top-notch, but I also highly recommend visiting the cafe. The location of the hotel was ideal, being close to shopping streets. I had a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
