I recently stayed at Hotel La Maison de la Paix for the third time and it was excellent as always. The annexe was just as nice as the main hotel, with luxurious rooms and a fantastic bathroom. The on-site restaurant provided superb food and drink in a beautiful setting, both inside and outside. The central location and free parking were a real bonus, and the bar had a great selection of beers.

Parked in the convenient car park at the back. Enjoyed a delightful breakfast in the garden. Got a gift voucher for a future stay.

Shame I couldn't taste the food in the restaurant or correct their wrong data. It's not like I have anything better to do.

This hotel is a hidden gem located right in the center of town. With its prime location in the main square, you'll find plenty of bars and restaurants to explore. The rooms are beautifully appointed with a private outside terrace, boasting lovely furnishings that add a touch of elegance. The breakfast is a standout, with boiled eggs cooked to order and served with an extensive buffet. It's the perfect way to start your day.

All was well, no improvements necessary.

Attentive yet unobtrusive staff, a comfortable room equipped with everything needed for a short stay, and the convenience of having a restaurant and bar on-site made our stay at De La Paix a delight. The hotel's location was perfect for our trip exploring the WW1 sites, and we were pleased to have a quiet room at the back. We have stayed here before on a beer-buying trip and were impressed by the modern rooms. This time, we were on the top floor and had a spacious verandah, though the weather prevented us from fully enjoying it. The bar-cafe-restaurant downstairs provided excellent dining options, and the proximity to the Friday market allowed us to indulge in some delicious cheese. a great experience at De La Paix.

We couldn't stay longer 😞

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel with a delightful host. Our room overlooked a picturesque market square, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel's restaurant offered one of the best steaks we've had in a long time, complemented by excellent Belgian beer. The staff were friendly and spoke English, making us feel welcome. we highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

De locatie van het hotel was echt ideaal. Het was dicht bij de luchthaven, wat handig was voor een tussenstop. We konden gemakkelijk rond de stad reizen met een taxi. Het was geweldig om zo dicht bij de luchthaven te zijn.

Helaas was er één negatief aspect van het hotel. De handdoeken waren oud en gescheurd, wat teleurstellend was.

This was my third stay at Hotel De La Paix and it was excellent as usual. We stayed in the hotel annexe "La maison de la Paix" which was equally as nice as the main hotel. The room was luxurious and well equipped, with a fantastic bathroom. The restaurant had superb food and drink, both outside and inside. the hotel was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.
