The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us insider tips on where to find delicious yet affordable mussels. The location was perfect, just a quick walk from the train station and city center, yet blissfully quiet at night. The breakfast spread, served in a beautiful room, was typically European and beautifully presented. We even got to have breakfast with the owners one evening while they played cards, enjoying a glass of wine and the charming atmosphere. And, to top it all off, the hotel had an elevator - a rarity in smaller establishments. With friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms, and a prime location, this hotel was a hidden gem.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of the train station and close to all the attractions in Bruges Old Town. Our room had a kettle with tea and coffee facilities, which was a nice touch. the breakfast offered a variety of options including fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, and meats. We also had the option to cook boiled eggs. the staff, especially the lady at the reception desk, were friendly and provided useful information. We appreciated the large breakfast pack that was prepared for us when we had to leave early in the morning.
