The hotel was in a great location, close to key attractions and easy to find. The comfortable and modern rooms were a highlight of the stay as well as the secure parking provided. Staff were friendly and helpful, with reception staff able to speak great English, making the check-in process smooth and easy.

The hotel lacked a sufficient number of electrical sockets in the rooms, which was frustrating for guests trying to charge multiple devices. there was a lack of staff available during peak times, with only one employee manning reception, bar, and restaurant areas.

The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to the German Christmas Market in Aachen and a short drive to the center of Ghent in just 15 minutes. The restaurant offers a nice place to have dinner, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities provided. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

There have been issues with staff shortages, resulting in long waiting times and the possibility of not receiving what you have booked, like inclusive breakfast items such as eggs and bacon.

The hotel is conveniently located just off the motorway, making it ideal for those who want to travel to Brussels, Ghent, and Bruges. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a new and modern bathroom/shower unit built into each room. The staff provide excellent service and are very attentive to guests' needs. The breakfast, although slightly on the expensive side compared to other hotels, offers a decent selection of items to choose from.

The staff at Ibis were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. They even went as far as arranging for a courier to return a forgotten item to us. We were truly grateful for their outstanding service. Despite a few minor hiccups, such as a dimly lit room and low-pressure plumbing, the hotel itself was clean, well-run, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel for its helpful staff and convenient amenities.
