The hotel facilities were great, with a refreshing pool and a cozy atmosphere. The staff was lovely and accommodating, always ensuring my room was cleaned daily. The best part was the breathtaking view of the sunset from the rooftop, which made every evening unforgettable.

This hotel is an amazing choice! The rooms are basic but kept very clean and have a wonderful view! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the location just by the beach with some luxurious touches is perfect. Plus, the breakfast is delicious! From the reviews, the hotel has a beautiful garden and pool, and guests can borrow bikes to go grocery shopping.

our recent stay in san pedro was amazing. the location of ambergris sunset was perfect, centrally located and close to everything we needed. the owner went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, providing transportation and recommendations. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views from the rooftop were stunning. we will definitely be back.

Wifi signal was weak.

Despite the lack of a power outlet in the bathroom, I found the location, pool, and free bikes offered by the hotel more than made up for it. The proximity to a grocery store was very convenient and the staff was friendly and accommodating. a solid choice for a stay.

Small, well-maintained pool. Free coffee in the morning. Clean rooms with a convenient mini fridge. Beautiful rooftop terrace to enjoy lagoon sunsets or relax. Helpful and friendly owner and staff. Free single-speed bikes for guests to explore the outskirts of San Pedro.

The complimentary bike rental was great for exploring the area. The location was very convenient, close to shops and restaurants. , the rooms were kept clean daily and the staff was friendly.

The room was too small and cramped for two people. The lack of storage or any kind of refrigerator made it difficult to stay organized and comfortable over a long period of time.

The rooms were clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities, like A/C, microwave, and refrigerator. The small pool and deck area were well-maintained and provided ample seating for relaxing. The hotel's central location made it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and enjoy stunning sunset views from the rooftop deck. Added bonus: the owner let me park my golf cart inside the gate for extra security. a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay.

The hotel location is perfect as it’s only a short walk from the ferry and close to the action but still away from the loud bars. There’s a great supermarket just a block away too. The rooms are very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom has hot water and everything you need. The staff is also kind and helpful and breakfast is included. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking and the pool area is a nice place to relax after a day of exploring.

The pool is small, but this is a minor detail when compared to everything else.

We definitely got more value for our money at Ambergris Sunset. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and the owner provided complimentary coffee in the mornings. The location was perfect, with stunning sunsets on the rooftop patio and easy walking distance to local restaurants, bars, and markets. The staff, especially Mike the manager, were always friendly and helpful.

Food for breakfast could have been better, but overall it was a great stay. The mattress and bed frame in our budget room were a bit squeaky and uncomfortable, but we understand that the other rooms might have better beds.
