As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the kayaking on the river, morning yoga sessions, and the beautiful gardens. The cacao tree experience was unique and the staff were helpful and welcoming.

Felt really at home, no complaints at all.

The location, right on the river, provided a tranquil and serene atmosphere. Watching the wildlife was a highlight, especially hearing the howler monkeys in the evenings. The yoga sessions were excellent and helped us unwind. The food, although a bit pricey, was delicious and we enjoyed the farm-to-table concept. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The cabanas were luxurious and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the cultural tours and activities, especially the chocolate farm experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. we highly recommend this hotel.

We got great value for our money with a comfortable and luxurious lodge in a beautiful jungle setting. The staff, especially Ms. Valerie, treated us like friends and went above and beyond to make our stay special.

The breakfast experience could be improved by offering gluten-free options for guests with dietary restrictions.

Beautiful jungle location with a river, great for swimming and enjoying the rope swing. Comfortable rooms with excellent beds. Amazing wildlife, with howler monkeys and huge iguanas. Tasty food made from farm ingredients. Friendly staff, especially Armando who gave an informative farm tour.

I had an amazing time at Cotton Tree Lodge! The jungle setting was so peaceful and relaxing. I loved falling asleep to the sounds of the howler monkeys and waking up to the beautiful birdsong. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The food was absolutely delicious, especially knowing that most of it was grown in their own gardens. The tours were informative and led by passionate locals who really knew their stuff. I highly recommend this lodge for a unique and memorable jungle experience.

Lovely family-run property with a flowing river for kayaking, morning yoga sessions, and amazing gardens used for onsite chef-prepared meals. Cacao trees let you taste pods and beans. Airport transfers provided. Highly recommended for a stay in the area.

We had an amazing time at the lodge. The view of the river was stunning, and we loved using our flashlights at night to spot animals. The lodges were comfortable and well-crafted, providing a true jungle experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and eager to share their knowledge. The garden was lush and green, full of birds and insects. We also enjoyed the delicious authentic food at the nearby cafeteria.
