The modest rooms are comfortable, with clean linen and towels, and an abundance of hot water. The family-style meals are delicious and offer a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers. The helpful and friendly staff make you feel right at home. Plus, the resort is conveniently located near the river, perfect for taking in the serene surroundings.

The birdstand on the property could use some repairs to ensure safety and stability.

I had an amazing time at this family-owned resort. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my travel needs were taken care of, just like they did for other guests. The room was fantastic and very clean. The family-style meals allowed me to bond with other guests and hear about their exciting adventures. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like the ruins at Xunantunich and Tikal. The upcoming medicinal plant trail sounds like a great addition. The town of San Ignacio was also a highlight, with its vibrant market and local futbol game. I highly recommend this resort for a fantastic jump-off point for adventure.
