Our stay at Falling Leaves Lodge was truly delightful. The staff were incredibly warm, making us feel at home. The restaurant, Obsidian, served some of the best food we've had, and the lush surroundings added to the serene atmosphere.

The location is a bit far from downtown.

Accessibility can be a challenge. the steep hill to the city means you'll likely rely on taxis for outings. Bedrooms lacked a bit of soundproofing which could be an issue if you're sensitive to noise from above or outside. The Wi-Fi situation wasn’t the most reliable. it dropped during my stay, which wasn’t ideal for planning local explorations. Lastly, the restaurant’s food was hit-and-miss—some dishes were great while others felt quite average.

staying at falling leaves lodge was fantastic! the staff were super helpful, especially in showing us how to navigate the tv controls. the lodge's location, next to mayan ruins, provided a beautiful backdrop with lush grounds. we loved the thoughtful touch of extra pool towels available for our tours. it truly made our adventures more enjoyable!

Consider renting a car for easier access, especially if mobility is a concern due to the steep hill leading to the lodge.

I was quite frustrated with the power outages during my stay. they disrupted our relaxation and made it hard to enjoy our room. Additionally, while the bar offered decent drinks, the atmosphere was disappointingly quiet, lacking any liveliness or social vibe. Lastly, the weak Wi-Fi connection was a significant inconvenience, making it difficult to plan our day's activities effectively.

We enjoyed our stay at Falling Leaves Lodge for three nights, especially the spacious Large Double or Twin Room. However, there were some minor issues with the wifi due to damage from a fallen tree and the bar could use a livelier atmosphere. Great for families seeking a quiet getaway.

Right down the garden path felt like waltzin’ into a fairytale. We seen capybaras and them Toucans all about. Beds were cozy as a bug in a rug, and that food was downright extraordinary. Had a dragon fruit margarita that was simply outta this world. Unforgettable stay for sure!

Hot water could be hotter , but the homemade muffins and pool are fantastic!

Staying at Falling Leaves Lodge felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. Ms. Paula’s warm hospitality made us feel right at home, as she arranged our thrilling tours seamlessly. The lodge's stunning scenery and delectable food truly elevated our experience.

While our stay was mostly wonderful, the occasional power outage did catch us off guard. Also, the beds could use a bit more comfort to match the overall lovely atmosphere.

the wifi was spotty at times,, which was a bit frustrating. the pool and hot tub were perfectly clean (even after windy weather). also, the staff arranged a pick-up for our tours, which was super helpful. dinner was excellant!

the views from the restaurant are breahtaking, especially at night. the lack of a pool is dissapointing.
