This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, an outdoor dining area, and a lovely swimming pool. The staff once recommended a great local delivery that I still remember. Don't forget to try the bikes! I’m coming back for Christmas.

Mariposa Belize Beach Resort offers a lovely beachfront experience, with clean, spacious rooms and welcoming owners, Bruce and Sharon. While the pool is nice and the views are stunning, some areas need improvement, such as enhancing kitchen supplies and addressing occasional noise from nearby activities. Great for couples and those looking to unwind by the sea.

Our stay at Mariposa was pure bliss—gorgeous grounds, prime beachfront access, and spacious, well-appointed rooms. The staff treated us like family, even setting up a flat screen for the NFL playoffs!

The only drawback was the seaweed, common in Belize, but the team worked daily to keep the beach clean. While a bit removed from the village, renting a golf cart made it easy to explore.

the wi-fi was kinda slow but the treehouse was super spacious and clean! ! loved the fresh fruit punch on arrival, and the views from the deck were breathtaking! the friendly staff made us feel right at home!

Perfect beach vibes!

My fiancé and I were blown away by the stunning oceanfront suite! Waking up to each day's gorgeous sunset was pure bliss. The staff was super chill and made every moment enjoyable. We also loved grabbing a morning coffee at the outdoor dining area. Just wish there were a few more nearby dining options, sometimes felt too secluded.

we had a delightful time at this resort, where the staff's warmth was evident from the moment we arrived, and the beautiful stretch of beach made for a perfect home base to explore nearby attractions like the placencia municipal pier, only about 2.5 km away, and lola's art gallery just a short walk away, which are perfect for leisurely strolls and discovering local culture.

The free bikes were a fun way to explore. We enjoyed relaxing in the lovely lounge chairs by the beach. A minor bummer was that the mattress wasn’t super comfy, but it didn’t ruin our awesome getaway. 😊
