I stayed at this resort for 2 nights and found it to be a great value for $90 a night. The air conditioning was cold, the bed was big and comfortable, and the patio/balcony provided a nice outdoor space. The resort is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from downtown. Additionally, the Mayan ruins of Cahl Pech are only a 2-mile walk away. The receptionist was extremely sweet and the staff were wonderful. The bar on site had great happy hour specials and the pool was a nice touch.

The upgraded Cabanas were fantastic, offering larger accommodation sizes and a pool. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from town, allowing for easy access to good food. The staff was exceptionally nice, and the location was excellent, with nearby restaurants, a bakery, and a market.

Our stay at Midas Resort was fantastic! We were upgraded to a luxurious Mayan stone house, and it was truly a unique experience. The pool was lovely and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the vibrant restaurant district. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. The location was perfect, with several restaurants within walking distance. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the cabanas in the back was a great retreat. We felt safe with the security measures in place, including cameras and a night guard. The pool looked inviting, although we didn't have a chance to use it. Having our own coffee maker and refrigerator with a small freezer was convenient. The laundry service provided by the hotel was a bonus, and the meals at the on-site restaurant were delicious.

The on-site restaurant had a delicious meal and the chef even created a personalized dessert. Waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning made it feel like we were in a jungle. The resort's proximity to the restaurant district allowed four women to comfortably walk after dark. The staff were helpful and the rooms cozy, clean, and secure.

It was tucked away in a beautiful rainforest setting and provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the location of the hotel was very convenient as it was only a short 5, minute walk to town, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. Additionally, the staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating, providing us with a taxi service when needed.

One downside was the check, in process, which was not smooth. We had initially booked a cabana but were told none were available.

The location is perfect, with easy access to good restaurants in the San Ignacio area. We were happy to have the restaurant right there, as well as being close to everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The staff provided great service and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning. The pool was amazing, with an underwater cave that the kids absolutely loved!

Some ants in the lawn surrounding the units were a minor inconvenience.
