Despite the rough roads in Belize, the adventure was worth it, adding to the charm of the off-the-beaten-path experience. Plus, the resort arranged transportation to and from Belize City airport, making my journey hassle-free. I highly recommend Mystic River Resort for an unforgettable jungle getaway.

Beautiful jungle setting with lush foliage and plenty of outdoor spaces to relax and soak in the sights and sounds of nature. I loved the outdoor massages by the fountain pool and the half-day tour to the nearby Mayan ruins was fascinating with so many interesting animals and birds to see. The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this resort for a serene rainforest experience.

Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Xunantunich and Cahal Pech, two nearby Mayan ruin sites, made exploring these historical sites convenient.

The private balconies offer gorgeous views of the rainforest and river below, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The location in the jungle is perfect for nature lovers, as I had the opportunity to go on an epic birding excursion in the morning. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities is outstanding, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Additionally, the breakfast served at the restaurant is delicious and satisfying.

I recently stayed at Mystic River Resort in San Ignacio for 2 nights and it was an absolute delight. From the friendly staff to the comfortable rooms and beautiful river views, everything was perfect. The resort is nestled in the Belizean jungle, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The accommodations were well-appointed and clean, with a lovely outdoor deck to enjoy the stunning views. The restaurant on-site offers delicious meals with a mix of local and international cuisine, and the bar serves refreshing drinks. The resort also offers free river tubing and canoeing, as well as jungle hikes and birdwatching. it was a fantastic and relaxing getaway.

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful resort in the Belizean jungle. The staff was friendly, rooms were comfortable, and the peaceful view of the river was amazing. The hotel is committed to preserving the environment, using reusable bottles and containers, growing their own vegetables, and making their own cheese. The managers went above and beyond to ensure our happiness, even personally driving us into town for a tour. The open-air bar and restaurant served great food, and the resort felt like a little piece of paradise.
