We loved the hotel's convenient location near restaurants and dive shops, as well as its proximity to the ocean. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, from arranging complimentary airport transfers to promptly assisting us when we lost our safe key. The morning coffee was delicious, and we appreciated the inclusion of a safe in our room.

The bartender, Ray, was always there, day and night, ready to make amazing drinks and assist with any needs. The location was perfect, right on the beach with breathtaking views. The hotel was small and cozy, with only 8 rooms, allowing me to meet other friendly travelers. The room itself was spacious, with two large double beds and a hot shower with plenty of water. I loved waking up to an ocean view every morning. The pool was a great bonus, especially since swimming in the sea wasn't possible due to seaweed. The hotel was conveniently located; just a short walk away from the town center and water taxi terminal. The friendly staff even lent me a kettle so I could make tea, as they only served coffee in the morning.

Raymond, the bartender at Lazy Pelican bar, provides excellent suggestions for activities and dining options on the island. The rooms are clean and the housekeeping staff keeps them spotless.

The beds could be more comfortable.

During our week in Belize, we had the best experience staying at Ocean Tide. The resort staff, like Tula and Carolina, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. From arranging a golf cart pickup from the ferry to providing complimentary morning tea instead of coffee, their attention to detail was impressive. The facilities were clean and exactly as advertised, and we especially enjoyed the well-maintained pool area with comfy cushioned seats and hammocks. The location was perfect, not far from the center and right on the beach. We met some wonderful people and had a great time. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to San Pedro.
