The owners Mike and Jen were fantastic, always available to help and make us feel welcome. Mike even ferried us across the river to the accommodation whenever we needed. The swim-up pool bar was a standout with amazing cocktails. The location was beautiful, close to the action but still private and quiet. We enjoyed renting kayaks and fishing rods for some fun activities.

We had an amazing romantic escape with my partner at a resort in Placencia. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The cocktails at the swim-up bar were fantastic and the pool was the best we've ever experienced. The water was refreshing and the swim-up bar was a great spot to relax and enjoy a few drinks. The resort was also conveniently located near the water taxi, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area.

That the directions to the resort were a bit unclear, especially if you're not taking a taxi. It took us a while to find the resort, as we were traveling with friends and didn't want to incur the extra cost of a taxi.

Located on a secluded island, a short walk from the town center. Boat ride takes just 20 seconds. Some rooms have shared bathrooms. Nice pool and strong cocktails. Great for wildlife spotting. Friendly and accommodating staff. Will stay again if ever returning.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The pool was fantastic and the water was always hot. The bed was so comfortable and I slept really well. The staff, especially Clinton, were absolutely fantastic. They were kind, approachable, and gave me great recommendations for things to do. The wifi was also really good and I had no issues with connectivity.

I appreciated that the owner gave me a ride to the bus station early in the morning. The pool and Jacuzzi at the hotel were also fantastic amenities.

The location was quite inconvenient, as it was a long walk from town and I had to take a boat across a canal every time I wanted to leave or return. The rooms were extremely small and lacked basic amenities, such as a table to put my bags and window coverings for privacy.
