I had a fantastic time at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were great. The location was perfect, with easy access to both the village and the lagoon. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Located on a secluded island, a short walk from the town center. Boat ride takes just 20 seconds. Some rooms have shared bathrooms. Nice pool and strong cocktails. Great for wildlife spotting. Friendly and accommodating staff. Will stay again if ever returning.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, just off the main strip with beautiful views of the canal from our room. The staff were truly amazing, always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. The pool was a dream come true, clean and with a swim-up bar for added convenience.

We stayed at Sailfish Resort for a week and had a fantastic time. Mike and Jen, the owners, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Mike was always available to ferry us across the river to the resort, and Jen made sure we had everything we needed. The swim-up pool bar was a standout feature, and the cocktails were top-notch. The location was perfect, close to the action but still private and quiet. We loved the availability of kayaks and fishing rods for rent. a wonderful stay with great hospitality.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The pool was fantastic and the water was always hot. The bed was so comfortable and I slept really well. The staff, especially Clinton, were absolutely fantastic. They were kind, approachable, and gave me great recommendations for things to do. The wifi was also really good and I had no issues with connectivity.

I appreciated that the owner gave me a ride to the bus station early in the morning. the pool and Jacuzzi at the hotel were also fantastic amenities.

I had a disappointing experience during my Christmas stay at this hotel. the location was quite inconvenient, as it was a long walk from town and I had to take a boat across a canal every time I wanted to leave or return.

As someone who enjoys being in direct touch with nature, Sailfish Resort in Placencia was perfect. The location offered beautiful views, with a canal right outside our room. The pool was delightful, and we loved the swim-up bar. The grounds were well-maintained, with coconut trees and flowers attracting visiting birds. Wildlife spotting opportunities included birds, iguanas, starfish, swordfish, eels. Friendly staff and strong cocktails added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.
