I had the most amazing time at the Funky Dodo Backpackers! The attention to detail in the dorm bunks was fantastic - I loved having my own privacy curtain, reading light, and electrical outlet. The lockable storage bins were also a huge plus. The hostel's peaceful garden with hammocks was the perfect spot to relax, and having the local bus stop right in front of the hostel made transportation so easy. I had a comfortable and fun experience meeting other travelers.

Although I had a great stay, I do wish smoking wasn't allowed right in front of the dorm rooms. Additionally, the place could use some renovation.

The dorms provided privacy with curtains and individual reading lights. The communal kitchen was well-equipped and the hammocks in the garden were a relaxing touch. A supermarket conveniently located across the street.

They treated me like family, giving me information and suggestions for activities, and even helping me when my suitcase broke. The two resident cats were also adorable. The dorms were comfortable, and the common area was a great place to hang out and meet other travelers.

We also appreciated the comfortable beds and excellent shower facilities.
