The location was excellent, right next to the Lapa steps and the viaduct. The hotel had a beautiful, modern decor and was clean. The staff was friendly, especially the Argentinean host. The rooftop and courtyard were wonderful. The front desk was very nice.

We had a fantastic stay at Selina in Rio. The hostel had a great location and amazing facilities, with a cinema, library, and a large kitchen. The dorm beds were comfortable and the curtains provided privacy. We also loved the large lockers for our belongings. The dorm bathroom was clean and one of the nicest we've seen in Brazil. Additionally, the hostel provided leftover food in the kitchen which was well labeled and made cooking easy. we had a great experience at Selina in Rio and would recommend it to others.

This hotel in a vibrant neighbourhood right beside the Selaron stairs is definitely value for money. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities are just right. The super view of the Santa Teresa Convent from the rooms is breathtaking, and the included breakfast with a coffee machine is a great perk.

The area around the hotel could feel a bit shady at night, but we found it culturally vibrant. The kitchen facilities were poorly equipped and not well-maintained.

We stayed at a fabulous hotel in central Rio, right in the center of the action. The location was ideal, near the church where bells were ringing around 6 am, adding to the charm of the area. The room was great, with a comfortable bed and an elegant bathroom. The staff were friendly and provided wonderful advice on navigating the city. The facilities were fantastic, including a rooftop terrace with a bar. it was one of the best hotel experiences we've had.

Some of the staff lacked knowledge about the neighborhood.

The database room at Selina Lapa was comfortable and quiet, with an excellent shower. The room itself was stylish, clean, and spacious, with plenty of storage space for our belongings. The bathroom had a good shower and a hairdryer, and there was a lot of space to put our things, including a wardrobe, desk, and chair. The room had a big mirror, which was convenient for getting ready. Despite there being parties every day, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn't hear any music, allowing us to have a peaceful sleep.

Felt like we were in a fairy tale, as we had no complaints whatsoever about our stay at Selina Lapa Rio De Janeiro.
