spacious room, delicious breakfast

minor cleanliness issue

the room absolutely needed updates, especially the bathroom fixtures, which clearly shouted for attention. i thought the pool would be a fabulous escape, but no one seemed to care about my comfort. it woudl ve been nice to have a complementary welcome gift. i almost fell for this place, but just couldn't bring myself to give it a good review.

absolutely could have been great, but the hotel has a mix of rude staff and tiny pool, that nobody cared for. Breakfast is repetitive, and seriously, shouldn’t clean towels be a given? Almost considered a good review, but just couldn’t.

The location directly across from the beach was fantastic, providing easy access to the vibrant energy of local attractions. We enjoyed spacious lobbies and a large pool area, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring.

The breakfast area felt a bit cramped during peak times.

The location is fantastic! I enjoyed sweeping views from the rooftop and the free Wi-Fi was a delight. The room was cozy enough for my needs, and overall the hotel was quite well organized.

But oh dear, the elevators were like slow sloths on a coffee break and my shower had a personality—very moody about draining! Let’s just say I won't be taking any shower selfies here!

The rooftop pool offers an amazing view of Copacabana, making it a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

The customer service was notably lacking, as many staff members had limited English skills and were unresponsive to our inquiries.

The air conditioning was noisy, but the location was perfect and breakfast had amazing cakes!

It was just a strong match for a stopover in Rio de Janeiro with incredible value for money. I really enjoyed the top-floor pool with its amazing view. it was a great spot to relax after exploring. Make sure to ask for a room away from the lift to avoid noise at night.

Wi-Fi rarely worked, but the location was convenient with easy beach access.

the astoria palace has a prime location right on the beachfront which makes it perfect to enjoy copacabana. the breakfast is quite good with a solid selection of pastries and fruits

The rooftop pool was a highlight. the view from our room was breathtaking, especially during sunrise! One downside was that the breakfast area felt a bit cramped at times.

Location is incredible. Just steps from the beach. the breakfast had a variety of fresh fruits and good coffee.

Staff could improve their communication. some seemed unapproachable at times.

Cozy room, friendly staff, with easy access to the beach just a short 10-minute walk from the nearest metro station, perfect for exploring local shops and restaurants.
