As women traveling alone, we loved the friendly and helpful staff, fantastic location in the heart of the city, and comfortable beds. The quiet rooms to the back of the building provided a peaceful retreat. The great breakfast and charmingly decorated hotel added to our enjoyable stay.

The location of the hotel in the old city center was perfect, being very close to the main square and all the main tourist attractions. The hotel itself had beautiful interiors and attention to detail. The rooms were comfortable with amenities such as wifi and aircon. The staff were friendly and the breakfast provided a lot of selection.

The TV signal had some issues during the Olympics, but the staff tried their best to fix it.

I recently stayed at Bahiacafe for a week and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located in the city center and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with great amenities like free wifi and a kettle. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of options including fresh fruits and juices. The decor was charming, and the lobby bar was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. I also appreciated the excellent service from George, who made delicious capirinhas and provided valuable travel advice.

Amazing staff, helpful and assisted with late night food orders. Great spa experience with massage and jacuzzi. Beautiful decor and relaxed atmosphere. Helpful reception staff and friendly barman. Safe area with shops and restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast and English-speaking staff who can arrange tours and transfers. Lovely character with old wooden floors and comfortable king size beds. A perfect choice for future visits to the area.

This hotel is perfectly located in an area of active nightlife in the lovely neighbourhood of Pelourinho of Salvador. The staff offered great service and attention to detail. They provided rooms with individual aircon and standard amenities. Additionally, breakfast had a lovely view of the Salvador old town with some "a la minute" products and the option to order additional food for free.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the charming decor throughout the hotel. The highlight of our stay was the personal tour we received from the gerente, who showed us all the amenities and introduced us to the tourism staff. The hotel also offered spa services, including a relaxing massage which was absolutely worth it. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the lack of elevators and some street noise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bahiacafe Hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salvador!

One downside was that the room I stayed in had a window that led to the entrance stairs, making it impossible to open the curtains as it would be visible to everyone passing by. the room itself was also quite dark, lacking natural light.

This hotel had some good things going on. the complimentary breakfast was pretty awesome and we definitely looked forward to it each morning. the location was spot on! We were surrounded by historic architecture and had easy access to everything we needed. And the bed, well that was comfy.

The negatives really outshone the positives. First of all, the staff were not very helpful and made us feel like an inconvenience.
