This hotel is a hidden gem located on a hill above the ocean. The breathtaking views from the rooms, accompanied by a big spa bath, create the perfect setting for relaxation. The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel like a welcome guest, and their attention to detail is outstanding. The breakfast, served with an amazing view, is simply delightful and sets you up for a great day ahead.

All was just as perfect as can be. No complaints whatsoever.

The staff was friendly and breakfast was great. the view of the beach was amazing and having access to kayaks was fun.

The location was not the best, it was far from the center of town. there was no glass on the windows so my room was really cold at night.

Amazing architectural space, access to empty beach. Great breakfast and helpful staff. Lovely and quiet rooms with cool communal area. Beach below hotel with fishermen and kayaks to explore surroundings. Short walk to family-friendly beach and close to Paraty sites and restaurants. Tranquil boutique with attentive staff.

Our stay at Casa Mar was absolutely amazing. The setting was unbelievably beautiful and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The breakfast was the best we've had in Brazil. We especially loved the kayaks that were available for us to use anytime. I highly recommend this hotel.

We found an exceptional small independent hotel in a stunning location. The design is well thought out, with perfect lighting and seating arrangements around the lounge and pool area. The room and balcony had beautiful views, and there's a secluded quiet beach just a two-minute walk away. The owner-managed hotel is run by extremely courteous and helpful brothers. The breakfast was exceptional, and we enjoyed using the hotel kayaks to explore the beautiful surroundings, spotting dolphins and turtles.

At night, the lack of glass windows and only louvered shutters meant we could hear every sound from outside, making sleep almost impossible.
