Great breakfast, which was very convenient and saved us time in the morning. Location was also fantastic, with everything we needed within walking distance. the room was comfortable, with a large bed and air conditioning that worked well.

The staff was rude and unhelpful when we had issues with our room. They were slow to respond and lacked urgency in fixing the issue, which led to us losing valuable vacation time.

The Hotel Palace Santarém was normal—the air conditioning worked, the toilet flushed, the staff were attentive. They provided a good breakfast at a small restaurant next door. We were able thru the hotel to get same-day laundry service. The room was set up for handicapped individuals. The bed was long & large enough to accommodate three or four adults. In addition there were two single beds that we used as space for our luggage. Breakfast was really good as if I were in a fine restaurant and the staff was wonderful. The hotel location is a also a plus, close to the river and right in the middle of downtown Santarém.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Excellent location, just a few blocks from the main downtown attractions. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of typical foods. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and the good air conditioning when it was working. The hotel had snacks and beverages available for sale at the reception, which was convenient. I would recommend this hotel for its location and amenities.

The staff at the hotel were quite indifferent and lacked customer service skills. One guest mentioned that they had difficulties with getting help from the reception, even when they needed assistance with a simple task.
