Delicious breakfast and good food at their own restaurant

Felt like royalty, no complaints at all.

We had a fantastic time at Mar da Lua! The pousada is located in a beautiful and secluded spot, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owner, Francisco, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room was amazing, just a few steps away from the water's edge, providing breathtaking views. We enjoyed swimming with the fish right off the dock and were even lucky enough to have the owner's adorable cat come and cuddle with us as we lounged in the sun. The communication with Francisco from the moment we booked until the end of our trip was exceptional. We also took advantage of the boat excursions they offer, which allowed us to explore other stunning beaches on the island. It truly was the perfect honeymoon and we cannot wait to return someday!

We verbleven in een hotel in een kleine steeg dichtbij Taksim Square en winkelcentra. De locatie was geweldig, want we konden gemakkelijk naar alle vormen van transport komen en het vliegveld was ook gemakkelijk te bereiken. We hoefden slechts 2 minuten te lopen naar Taksim Square en Istiklal Street, waar er honderden winkels waren om alles te vinden wat we zochten. Onze kamer werd regelmatig schoongemaakt en was ruim en schoon toen we incheckten. We waren blij met het comfort en de prijs van het hotel. Het personeel bij de receptie was erg behulpzaam en stond de hele dag klaar om ons bij te staan. We willen hen bedanken voor hun geweldige service.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Ilha Grande and had a wonderful time. The owner, Francisco, was incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, making communication a breeze. The hotel had its own pier, which was a great convenience. The rooms, though in need of renovation, offered breathtaking views. I especially loved the fact that the minibar was stocked with cold beers that were replenished daily. The daily housekeeping was impressive, and I always returned to a clean and tidy room. The on-site restaurant served delicious food at affordable prices, and I enjoyed trying the shrimp bobo, which was absolutely delicious. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk away from a serene and deserted paradise beach. Additionally, the hotel offered excursions at market prices, which made it easy to explore the island. I had a fantastic experience at the hotel and would highly recommend it.

While there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the rooms needing renovation and the hot water being too hot, these did not significantly impact my overall experience. Additionally, the intermittent internet connection and the expense of the boat taxi to another island were minor inconveniences.

Nothing that I didn't like.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The location is incredible, nestled in a beautiful bay away from the main port with a few restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with plenty of sunbeds, a deck for swimming with colorful fish, and an amazing lounge area. The staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting great local activities and providing excellent service. The breakfast served at this hotel was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to start the day off right.
