We had a great New Year's experience at the hotel. We particularly liked the fact that we were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne upon check-in. the breakfast spread was impressive with a wide variety of fresh juices, fruits, bread, cakes, and other delicious options. the location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to explore the area without any hassle.

The noise level in our room, which was a bit disruptive at night. Despite the windows being closed, the street noise could still be heard, impacting our sleep quality.

The breakfast spread was incredible, with a wide variety of food options to suit all dietary needs. The location of the hotel, being right across the road from the beach, was perfect for enjoying the beach scene and watching the action. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were very pleasant and provided excellent customer service.

One major downside was the condition of the rooms. They were dark, drab, and dusty, with some black mold in the shower tiles.

They were incredibly helpful, providing us with excellent recommendations for places to visit and dine. The service they provided was top-notch and truly enhanced our experience. One member of the staff even surprised us with a birthday cake, which made our stay even more special. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms were luxurious, and the hotel amenities such as the sauna and pool added extra relaxation to our stay. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options to cater to everyone's preferences. we had a memorable 30th birthday celebration here.

We had a fantastic stay at Portobay in a prime location. Rhianne at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She even offered us a drink at the bar while we waited for our delayed check-in and allowed us a late check-out. The breakfast had a great variety and the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the area. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the perks of having reserved beach chairs and umbrellas. a luxurious experience with excellent service.
