I had a lovely stay at a beautiful, historic pousada in the heart of the old town. the rooms were small but very clean and tidy. the friendly staff and central location made it a wonderful place to stay. It was fascinating to be in such a historic location and the breakfast, pool area, and weather forecast were all great. Plus, the chocolate treats we received every night were a delightful bonus.

What a beautiful and comfortable stay we had in this lovely colonial style hotel. the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, making our city break even better. We loved the delicious breakfast, with omelettes made to order and plenty of coffee. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the town square but still in a quiet street. We also enjoyed the clean pool and the little treats offered in the room.

The staff at the pool bar could have been more attentive. the empty glasses were not cleared away and the area could have been cleaned more often.

We found the location of this hotel to be fantastic, right in the historic center and close to all the restaurants and bars. It was great being near the water front and we enjoyed walking down there. The rooms were airy and the linen was fresh. The breakfast provided a good selection and was well presented. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

The service fee charged by the hotel was a bit considering we had to handle our own luggage.

The staff went above and beyond to assist us, especially when we had an early morning transfer and couldn't make it to breakfast. The facilities were beautiful, and the location in the old town was perfect. highly recommended.

the hotel is beautifully designed and well-maintained, located in a stunning spot. the breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade yogurt. the reception staff were extremely helpful, spoke excellent English, and there was a safe facility for storing valuables. the pool area was lovely with comfortable sunbeds. the hotel's colonial architecture and pretty main area added to its charm. the staff were all friendly and the rooms were quiet at night. There was also a sauna and steam room. the location was perfect, close to the best restaurants and the harbor for day trips.
