During my recent stay at a charming pousada in a fantastic location, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and comfort provided. The pousada is centrally located, just steps away from a famous lighthouse and a breathtaking beach. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and peaceful, with some even offering a private patio area. The breakfast spread was a highlight of my stay, with a variety of delicious options including fried plantains with cinnamon. The staff were not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable about the local area, providing helpful recommendations for exploring the city. Despite being located in a bustling tourist area, the pousada felt secure. Although there was a minor issue with the pre-arranged airport pick-up, it did not significantly impact my overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this pousada to anyone visiting Salvador, especially couples.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the center of Barra. You are just a short walk away from the beautiful city beach, where you can enjoy the sun and waves. The staff at this hotel is incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your comfort. you have easy access to the historical center of Pelourhino, just a quick taxi ride away.

The room I stayed in had a few issues. The bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked and could use some maintenance.

The Pousada Estrela Do Mar had a stunning decor with beautiful white and blue tiles and eclectic paintings. The staff, especially Daniel, were kind, patient, and helpful. They provided useful amenities such as a map of the area, wifi code, and a list of recommended restaurants nearby. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh squeezed orange juice, cut-up fruits, made-to-order eggs, and fresh bread with ham and cheese. The location was also incredible, being close to the beach and nice restaurants.

Felt at home, no complaints at all.

Although the room was cozy, the bathroom was small, and the shower pressure was not very strong. the AC didn't cool as much as we expected, which was a bit of a setback in the hot weather.
