We absolutely loved our stay at the Family Batcave Homestay. The bamboo bungalow was comfortable and charming, with a comfy bed and clean toilet and shower facilities. Saro, the host, spoke excellent English and was incredibly kind and helpful. He even arranged a trip to the nearby bat caves and shared interesting information about Cambodia. The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the drinks and homegrown fruits provided. Saro's wife also cooked a lovely dinner for a small price. It was a fantastic way to experience rural Cambodian life and truly unwind.

The family made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, and they even organized a tuktuk tour for me to explore the area, including the famous batcave. The location was also convenient, with easy access to the killing caves, temples, and sunset viewpoint. We had an amazing stay at the homestay. The bungalow was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a big mosquito net. The toilet and shower facilities were always kept clean. The location, surrounded by beautiful nature and on top of a little mountain, was breathtaking. The hotel provided a delicious breakfast and even served us drinks and homegrown fruits during our stay. The staff, especially Saro, the owner, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Saro spoke excellent English and arranged transportation for us, including a tuktuk to explore the area and a trip to the nearby bamboo train. It was a truly unique experience.

We had the best time at Saro's place! The bungalow on stilts had amazing views and a balcony with a table and hammock for relaxing. Saro was such a lovely and friendly host, always concerned about our comfort and happy to chat and explain rural life. He even magically appeared when we needed a tuk-tuk and locals had called him! The whole village was kind and welcoming, and we loved the fresh fruit and treats shared by the family. Saro was also a great motorbike guide and took us on an excellent tour of the Hill/Bat cave. We're sure there will be even more improvements by the time you visit. And let's not forget, Saro provided great service by picking us up and taking us back to Battambang in his own tuk-tuk.

Had the best xmas experience at this homestay! the family was so welcoming and the bungalows were super comfy. Loved the open area with hammock and seating. the included breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially the homegrown fruits. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the bat caves and temple. They even provided free transportation to and from the homestay and helped organize onward travel. Such a lovely place with lovely people!

At first, we were concerned about the location being outside the city, but it turned out to be a blessing. the homestay was conveniently close to the bat and killing caves, and the family provided transportation for us.

The hut is of course a bit rustic but very charming, and the bed is quite comfortable! The hosts even prepares vegan breakfast and dinner for us, including fruit from the garden, and we had a communal dinner with other guests and the owner. The owner was always kind and helpful and we had wonderful conversations. Truly a place to unwind and experience Cambodian rural life. Free water and refills.
