I recently stayed at Nataya Roundhouse Resort in Kampot for 6 nights over New Year and had the most wonderful holiday! The location is a distant outpost, but it offers a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful surroundings. The spotlessly clean infinity pool overlooking the sea was a true idyll. The roundhouse bungalows were cool and comfortable, and the outdoor private bath and shower added a unique touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the manageress even surprised us with a special birthday cake. The food was delicious, with a variety of Asian dishes recommended by the local staff. The resort also had a great playground for children.

There were a number of downsides to our stay. the staff lacked proper training and customer service skills, which dampened our overall experience.
