We got great value for our money, with a cosy and private cabin that had a well-stocked kitchen. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a long day of walking. The location was fantastic, close to all the restaurants and day walks. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast menu, with more variety and options.

My partner and I recently stayed at the charming A Shack in the Woods for a long weekend getaway. The cabin is nestled at a dead end, providing a private and secluded atmosphere. We were delighted to find a firepit fully equipped with wood, matches, and roasting forks, allowing us to have cozy nights by the fire. The cabin itself is beautifully designed, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Its location is ideal, as it is in close proximity to a multitude of amazing attractions. We cannot wait to return!

the cabin at A Shack In The Woods exceeded our expectations. it was cozy, well-stocked, and private. the outdoor fire pit was a highlight, allowing us to relax and enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring. the owner's attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home.

Limited supplies - only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided for a week-long stay.

However, the location of the hotel is excellent, nestled within the serene and picturesque surroundings of the woods. the cozy shack provides a comfortable stay for older guests. The full-size oven and barbecue make cooking meals easy and enjoyable, while the bath with a shower over it allows for a relaxing bathing experience.

The wifi at the hotel was extremely slow and unreliable, making it difficult to even download emails.
