Distant location, pricey taxi ride.

The view from the room was breathtaking, overlooking the picturesque lake. the spacious room and comfortable bed provided a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. the homemade breakfast was a delightful treat, with a variety of delicious options to choose from.

The constant presence of mosquitoes outside was quite bothersome and made it difficult to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the Wi-Fi connection was also quite poor and unreliable.

loved our recent stay in val-d'or, but our longer stay at this lakefront gem, au soleil couchant, was even better! clean, comfortable rooms with beautiful lake views, delicious breakfast. highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience at Au Soleil Couchant! The hosts, Diane and Michel, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and the lake view was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and the homemade breakfast was delicious. It truly felt like staying with friends or relatives. We definitely recommend this place for a memorable stay.
