The room at this gem of a hotel was incredibly spacious, cozy, and had a warm ambiance. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. It was a pleasure to relax in the room, which is a luxury not often found in standard hotel rooms. The location in the heart of the old town, with a river view, was perfect for exploring.

We recently stayed at Auberge De La Place Royale for three nights while exploring Old Montreal. The room was spacious and had a touch of luxury with personalized names on the door. We were delighted to find a laundry room, as well as WiFi and microwave ovens in our room. The bathroom was excellent, boasting a large bathtub, and the location was perfect for exploring the area.

this charming hotel exceeded my expectations during our overnight stay in old montreal. the spacious and character-filled suite had a lovely view of the water, with a separate bedroom and a large dining table. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, just a short stroll to restaurants and shops along the waterfront.

Wifi wasn't consistent.

We had a wonderful romantic escape! the first thing we loved was the complementary pc with a printer to print our boarding passes. the spacious and comfortable room was amazing, making our stay unforgettable. the key location, near to charming restaurants and places worth visiting, was very convenient. we enjoyed the complementary guitar in the room where Leonard Cohen once stayed.

The biggest negative point was the noise from trains passing by between 2 and 4 am. It was a bit of a bummer, but we could still rest peacefully during the day and explore the city.

I had a wonderful stay at Auberge De La Place Royale for five nights. The room was fantastic and the location was great, close to all amenities and public transit. The bed was very comfortable and the fridge was stocked with several drinks. Having a toaster oven and coffee maker in the room made having breakfast easy. The linens were clean and fresh, and the view from one of the rooms was spectacular. The atmosphere of the inn was charming and I would definitely stay there again if I could request a room with a view of the water.
