The hotel's location in the forest very near to the entry gate of the National Park "La Mauricie" was perfect as I could easily access the park for a couple of hours. Additionally, being right next to the National park made it extremely convenient for exploring the natural beauty of the area. The cleanliness of the room was admirable, and the hotel facilities including the microwave and kettle allowed me to make quick snacks or meals in my room. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

We had a blast at L'Auberge Refuge Du Trappeur! The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. The proximity to Park Mauricie was a huge plus for us, as we love being close to nature. It was so quiet at night, perfect for a peaceful getaway. We also appreciated the cozy living room with a fireplace, where we could relax and play games. The homemade food was delicious, especially the homemade jam and burgers. Even though language was a barrier, the staff made sure we felt welcome and got what we needed.
