I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and helpful staff made me feel welcome. They spoke both English and French, which was a great help for me as a visitor. The hostel was exceptionally clean and well cared for. The owner even oiled a squeaky door as soon as I mentioned it. The location was perfect, as it was close to a beautiful park and just a short distance away from everything I wanted to see. The hostel facilities were top-notch, with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely patio area with a grill. I also appreciated the clear and easy instructions the staff gave me for getting to the city center and exploring the area.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was outstanding. I couldn't believe how affordable it was considering the quality and cleanliness of the accommodations. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Lastly, the location was perfect. Being just a stone's throw away from the Charny train station, I had easy access to both the main area of the old village and the highway. It made exploring the area so convenient. Not to mention, the comfortable beds and the delicious breakfast made my stay even more enjoyable.

Located just right opposite the Charny train station and away from the hustle and bustle of Quebec City center, this hostel offers a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful scenery. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with thick mattresses ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff is friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast is delicious and affordable, providing a perfect start to your day. the hostel has a cozy and homely atmosphere that is sure to make you feel right at home.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were incredibly affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and high level of service provided. Secondly, the location was perfect for my needs. Being close to the highway made it extremely convenient for me as I was traveling by car. Additionally, the fact that it was away from the hustle and bustle of Quebec city center made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Finally, the staff were second to none and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. From the basic amenities to the comfortable beds in the rooms with private bathrooms, everything was well taken care of. And the breakfast, although I didn't try it, looked absolutely delicious.

Useful shuttle service available. Close to Natural de la Chaudière with impressive falls. Complete and affordable breakfast option. Cozy and communal spaces. Fresh blankets, sheets, and towels provided. Ample bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking and storing food. Nice decoration. Friendly roommates in the all-female dorm. Staff was friendly and helpful, with English-speaking wife and fluent husband. Easy parking and location. Ensuite room comfortable for two.

I got great value for my money at this lovely hostel near Quebec City. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was fabulous for exploring the area. The staff at Auberge Jeunesse A Loulou were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could use a little improvement, maybe by offering more variety or different options for guests. However, this had nothing to do with Auberge Jeunesse A Loulou itself.

Good for drivers! If you have a car, you can get around quite easily. There's free parking and a train station nearby if you're looking to head into the nearest city.

You're a bit out of the way if you don't have a car, since it's not feasible to walk far from here. the neighborhood itself isn't particularly walkable either, so you may be stuck indoors if you're not planning on driving frequently.
