On-site restaurant serving pub food.

I recently stayed at the charming Auberge Lakeview Inn for a short getaway. The Victorian decor and beautiful verandah added a touch of elegance to my stay. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance. The Thursday dinner special of steak and all you can eat shrimp was absolutely incredible. The pool at the back of the hotel was a welcome bonus, especially during the hot summer weather. it was a great value for the money.

We had a great value for our money at Auberge Lakeview Inn. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony and the location was perfect, close to the marina and beach. The staff treated us like family and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety and options.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the charming old town. It was easy to explore and discover the nearby attractions and restaurants. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the beautiful Victorian room, which was clean, well-maintained, and full of character.

That there was no elevator in the hotel, which made it difficult for older guests like us who were staying on the upper floors. It would have been nice if there was an offer of help with carrying our luggage.

The hotel offered complimentary beer and drinks which was a nice touch. the pool was also quiet and clean. the location was great as it was easy to drop off my family in town and attend a family funeral. a decent place to stay.

I was supposed to check out at 10 pm according to the website, but I received a call at 8 pm saying the hotel was closing and the key was left outside. I had no interaction with staff until check-out, where I received a curt "thank you, have a good day".

The hotel was surprisingly quiet and conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, museums, and more. The charm of the 147-year-old building was evident, and it was perfectly clean. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and provided great recommendations for dining options nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Although the name "Lakeview" is a bit misleading, we found Spencer's Pub to be a great alternative for dining. The pool was a nice bonus on hot summer days.
