the stay at auberge sur mer charlevoix in saint-simeon exceeded our expectations. the relaxing setting and clean room with a great view made for a perfect short break. the caring reception desk and convenient location near the ferry and beach added to the charm.

View from room disappointing.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better, as it is right by the ferry to Rivière du Loup, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. With its prime spot just in front of the main pier, guests have easy access to transportation. the view from the terrace is simply breathtaking, adding to the overall appeal of the hotel.

There were issues with cleanliness in the bathroom, which detracted from the overall experience.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect for people watching and the view from the balcony onto the nearby restaurant and ferry was delightful. The short walk to the public beach was a bonus, and we enjoyed playing cards in the comfortable lounge on the second floor, surrounded by big windows. It was also a treat to spot whales and belugas from the beach just across the road. the beautiful location, clean accommodations, and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable.

Some of the equipment in the self-catering accommodation was a bit dated.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming inn by the water. The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River. The restaurant at Auberge Sur Mer Charlevoix was definitely the highlight of our experience. The food was of good quality and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed spending time on the terrace, taking in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoying the view. The reception desk staff were helpful, caring, and made us feel welcome. The proximity to the Rivière-du-Loup–Saint-Siméon Ferry was a convenient bonus, and the beach was just a short walk away. we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. 😊
