The room at August Jack Motor Inn was surprisingly spacious and had a gorgeous view facing the mountains. The beds were comfy, and the large window made the room bright and cheery. The kitchenette was a great addition, and the community vegetable garden next to the building was a lovely touch. The hotel is also conveniently located in Squamish, close to everything. I had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at August Jack Motor Inn in Squamish for a few nights while I looked for a new place to live. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful. Although the building may appear a bit run down on the outside, the room I stayed in was surprisingly nice and very clean. I was pleased to find that smoking was not allowed on the property. My room had a kitchenette, which was convenient, and even came with a sofa. The lack of air conditioning was not an issue with the window fan and my own fan. The brick walls in the room provided complete noise isolation. In addition to being a great value for the money, the hotel also had a community vegetable garden run by the owners, who made the vegetables available to the community and gave them to the homeless. There was also a lovely family park right behind the building with plenty of playground equipment. Would recommend this hotel.

Liked the comfortable and clean rooms, equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. the staff, although busy, went out of their way to assist with luggage and were extremely helpful throughout. the location was ideal, with three nearby parks offering great family activities. the rooms were also soundproof, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay. the beautiful view from the rooms added to the overall enjoyment.

Disliked the slightly outdated exterior of the motel and the need for some maintenance work. the carpets could use a good clean or replacement, and the kitchen utensils could be more consistently provided and of better quality.

Great location, close to shops, ice cream parlour, the Copper Kettle, and Still restaurant. Lovely park with plenty of activities for families with children.

The August Jack Motor Inn in Squamish is the perfect place to stay in downtown. The friendly owners, beautiful mountain view, and excellent wifi connection are just some of the highlights. The upgraded king size non-smoking room with a kitchenette was a great bonus. a great value for the money and a fantastic base for exploring the area.

One block away, there is a decent restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious meal. the hotel is close to the ferry, making it convenient for those who want to explore the surrounding areas.
