I was greeted with a warm smile and fresh cookies upon check-in, even though the hotel was fully booked on a busy long weekend. The staff were all friendly and helpful, from the maintenance guy who quickly fixed a clogged toilet to the breakfast host who offered to make waffles for my kids. The room cleaners were thorough and friendly too.

The room was a bit stuffy as we couldn't open a window, and the air-conditioning didn't improve the air quality much. Additionally, on one day our beds were not made, although everything else like emptying the garbage and providing new towels was done.

stayed in sylvan lake before but best western plus blew me away this time! clean rooms, friendly staff, and amazing breakfast options! loved the attentive breakfast staff and the comfy bed. pool looked great even though i didn't use it. be sure to check out the local ice cream shop and catch a sunset on the pathway!
