The hotel had a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. the staff was friendly and helpful, offering suggestions on places to visit and making sure we had everything we needed. the rooms were clean and spacious, with lots of space to plug in our devices.

The pool area was a bit cold, which made it less enjoyable. the staff friendliness varied depending on who we encountered.

Our stay at Canalta was absolutely amazing! The large room, comfortable bed, and super large bathroom provided the perfect setting for a quiet and comfortable night. The hotel had everything we needed, including convenient amenities like Tim Horton's across the parking lot and a fridge and microwave in the room. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and fresh, offering a wide variety of options. The location was ideal, and the outside appearance and lobby were impressive. we had a fantastic experience at Canalta and would highly recommend it to others! I would highly recommend this hotel based on our wonderful stay.

My family and I recently stayed at the Canalta in Selkirk for a few days to visit family and research the early settlers in the area. We were thrilled to be able to check in early and loved the added security of the locked front door after 11:00PM. The fresh popcorn in the evenings was a delightful touch, and the location was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was delicious, the lobby and elevators were well-kept, and having a microwave in the room was a nice bonus. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the pool and hot tub were a hit with the whole family. Additionally, the addition of a heated fish cleaning house was unexpected but greatly appreciated.
