We absolutely loved the peaceful location of Cedar Island Xanadu. Sitting on the back deck, sipping our morning tea and watching the black crowned heron catch its supper across the canal was a delightful experience. The friendly people passing by on the canal waving and smiling made us feel right at home. The beautiful beach and lake provided endless hours of fun for our grandchildren.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this comfortable and quiet cottage. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore Point Pelee National Park and enjoy the peacefulness of the surrounding area. The cottage itself was spacious and well-stocked with everything we needed, including books to enjoy during our downtime. We especially loved sitting on the back deck, taking in the beautiful view of the water and watching wildlife.

Some of the kitchen items were in need of cleaning and maintenance, but it was easily manageable with a bit of extra effort.

Loved fishing off the balcony, even though the fish clearly had better survival instincts than me. Private parking was a plus, but don't worry, fellow guests, the seagulls will find a parking spot on your car for you.
