We loved everything about our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, close to the village for shopping and the theater, with a beautiful view of a golf course. It was very easy to walk to downtown and we were close to everything, including the center of the shows. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch and the facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. The breakfast provided was delicious and a great way to start the day.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just down the street from the very touristy downtown area. It is within walking distance of old town Niagara on the Lake, making it convenient for exploring the charming shops and catching a show at the theatre. The hotel also looks out to a golf course, offering a peaceful view to enjoy. And if you're in the mood for a sweet treat, you can just walk down the street for an ice cream cone.

One downside is that the room can be a bit small, as mentioned in the reviews.

The location was perfect, right in the historic district and just beside the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club. The staff provided exceptional service and were warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the amenities I needed, including a flat-screen TV and free toiletries.

the charming osler house exceeded our expectations during our recent stay in NOTL. the comfortable accommodations, lovely grounds, and fantastic breakfasts made for a delightful experience. the host's charm and the proximity to restaurants added to the overall enjoyment. highly recommend!

Safety precautions during the ice storm were lacking.

We stayed at The Charles Hotel for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the main strip. The staff was incredibly welcoming and even upgraded our room. The old building added to the charm, and the romantic rooms and decor were lovely. One of the highlights was the personalized coffee, hot chocolate, and tea service. The hotel also offered a discount for the highly rated Hob Nob restaurant, which was excellent. a wonderful experience with friendly staff and great amenities.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The wait staff at the restaurant were very attentive and the food was spectacular. the Inn itself was very charming with a lot of character. the room was nicely decorated and comfortable with unlimited logs for the fireplace.

Some things that were advertised on the website were not available in the guest rooms, such as Aveda bath products and a music CD. the bathroom floor was supposed to be heated, but it didn't feel that way and there was no switch for it. There were a few discrepancies on the bill, although they were promptly fixed by the front desk staff.

The staff were friendly and offered complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi. the hotel was conveniently situated in the heart of the city with easy access to attractions. the rooms had modern furnishings and amenities.

The rooms were small, and some had limited storage space. There was also a lack of soundproofing, and noise from other guests could be heard easily.

We recently stayed at a lovely hotel in a perfect location in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The hotel had a homely feel and was situated in a quiet area within walking distance of the lake and main shops. We used it as a stopover for a visit to Niagara Falls, which was only a short drive away. The hotel also had an exceptional restaurant with a first-class menu. we highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

our return to niagara-on-the-lake was simply delightful. this time, staying at a charming inn that exceeded our expectations. the friendly staff, beautiful decor, cozy bar, and delicious food made our couple of nights absolute perfection.
