We loved our stay at Colonial Bay Resort. The two bedroom cottage was pristine clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed, including WI-FI. Waking up to the view of the water was amazing. The owners were incredibly accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this great place with easy access to the park and nearby Huntsville.

Had a fantastic Christmas getaway at this motel and cottage. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were like clouds. Despite being close to a highway, there was no traffic noise at all. the hot water in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise, and it heated up instantly. the motel location was perfect, close to a variety of restaurants and attractions. the owners were friendly and gave great recommendations for things to do and places to eat.

The lack of grab bars in the bathtub. As an older guest, I would have appreciated the extra safety measure.

The size of the room was perfect and the bed was comfortable. We loved having access to the pedal boats, canoes, and lifejackets for free. The gas BBQ facility was a great bonus, even though we had to share it with other guests. The lake views were stunning, especially at night when we could see the stars. an amazing experience!

My recent stay at Colonial Bay was fantastic! We were visiting Algonquin Park and stayed for a few days. The staff was amazing, allowing us a late check-out so we could relax and enjoy the beautiful lake view and deck. The lake itself was amazing, with warm, sandy water perfect for swimming. The complimentary use of watercraft was a highlight for us. The room was lovely and had everything we needed, including comfortable mattresses. The location was also great, close to our other travel plans. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed in the no. 1 cottage, and it was perfect for us. The bed and sofa were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. All the equipment was clean and in great condition. The shower had a decent pressure and always had hot water. The location of the hotel was also a big plus. It was convenient to get to all the must-do places in this city. The staff, especially the owners, were lovely and very helpful. They gave us a warm welcome and were courteous throughout our stay. The hotel facilities were also great, with boats, canoes, and kayaks available for guests. We had a lot of fun using them. There was also a restaurant across the street that was really fun. the best aspects of our stay were the comfortable accommodations, the great location, and the friendly staff.
