had an amazing weekend in lake cowichan and cowichan river lodge exceeded expectations. john and danielle were so welcoming, lodge was beautiful and tranquil, breakfast was fantastic. everything we needed was provided. can't wait to come back!

My stay at Cowichan River Lodge was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The location of the lodge was breathtaking, nestled by the beautiful Cowichan River. The lodge itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that made the space feel spacious and inviting.

Although everything was perfect during my stay, I do want to mention that the restaurants in the area tend to close early, around eight or nine in the evening. It's a good idea to plan ahead and not arrive hungry if you're planning to dine out.
