We got amazing value for our money at Cresthaven By The Sea. The room was incredibly comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location was stunning, overlooking the Bay of Plenty, and the staff, particularly our host Warren, were exceptionally helpful and welcoming.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning. Situated on a bluff overlooking the bay, the views are breathtaking. You can even spot eagles and other wildlife right from the property. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with a large bathroom. The host, Warren, is very helpful and cooks a delicious gourmet breakfast. The common room with a wood fire and the porch with Adirondack chairs are perfect for relaxing. Plus, the wifi here is the best I've experienced during my 10-day trip.

The dining options in the immediate vicinity are limited to pub food, but that's to be expected in a small town like this.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Cresthaven By the Sea Bed & Breakfast. the location was absolutely stunning, right on the river with a view of the Tidal Bore. the room I stayed in was not only exceptionally clean but also very nice and comfortable. the owner of the B&B was incredibly friendly and eager to help with any questions I had. In the morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was well-prepared.
