We had a fantastic stay at this resort! The location was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view from our cabin. We loved being able to be so close to nature and enjoy the serenity and quiet waters. The cabin itself was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The resort had excellent facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and the use of kayaks and canoes. The staff were very helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable.

During our stay at a charming cabin in a secluded resort, we were pleasantly surprised by the stunning location amidst the woods. The cozy cabin and its picturesque view were perfect for a laid-back and romantic experience. The resort's attention to detail in every aspect was truly impressive. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the need for a queen-sized bed instead of two doubles in the master suite, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this resort for a quiet and rejuvenating wilderness escape.

The value for money at Desolation Sound Resort was excellent. The chalet we stayed in, #11, had a spacious master bedroom with lots of natural light and a big wraparound deck. The free amenities like wifi, in-suite laundry, and kitchen were a great bonus. The location was perfect for outdoor activities, with canoes and kayaks available to use. a highly recommended place for a weekend getaway.

I loved the stunning and peaceful location of this resort. The use of kayaks and canoes was a welcomed bonus. The kitchen in my cabin was clean and well equipped, making meal preparations a breeze. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The resort was perfect for attending a family wedding, as the cabins allowed for easy interaction and gathering with loved ones.

The hiking trails, including the Sunshine Coast Trail, were epic. We hiked for miles and discovered so many hidden spots along the way. The BBQs on the beach were perfect for cooking up the fish we caught during our intense fishing sessions. And let's not forget the breathtaking scenery and adventure opportunities that surrounded us everywhere we turned. It was the ultimate getaway for thrill-seeking teenagers like us!

If there's one thing that could have made our stay even more fun for young party-going people like us, it would be the addition of a lively nightlife scene. We had a blast during the day with all the outdoor activities, but it would have been great to have some cool bars or clubs to hang out at in the evening.

We recently stayed at a beautiful site in the forest overlooking Okeover arm. the spacious chalet, equipped with everything we needed, provided wonderful views and easy access to the rocky shore. Chalet stood out with its big wraparound deck and bbq, perfect for relaxing. the master bedroom was spacious, with large windows that let in plenty of light. Complemented by free wifi, in-suite laundry, and a well-equipped kitchen, it was a winning combo. We took advantage of the available canoes and kayaks, paddling up and down Okeover arm. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway!

Attending a nearby family wedding, our stay at this beautiful and quiet location was perfect.
