The water pressure in the shower was amazing, giving me the best shower I've ever had. The hotel had a great location, right by a beautiful lake and just off the highway. The homemade food served at the hotel's restaurant was absolutely delicious, especially the bread and cinnamon rolls. It was the perfect place for an overnight stay during a long journey.

We arrived late at Double G Service and were pleasantly surprised to find our room ready with a sign posted on the door. The cabin-like room was spacious and cozy, with clean white towels and crisp white linen. The hot shower had excellent water pressure, making it the best shower I've ever taken. We enjoyed a delicious home-cooked dinner from the restaurant, and the breakfast in the morning was equally impressive, with huge slices of bread/toast. The staff was accommodating and friendly, and we appreciated the free wifi and ample TV stations. Despite a few minor issues like noise transfer between rooms and the lack of a mini fridge, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Double G Service.

I stumbled upon Double G by chance during my 17-day motorcycle trip from Vancouver Island to Dawson City return. The personal, laid back, old school service was amazing at this quaint, isolated oasis in the middle of nowhere BC. The homestyle truck-stop food was delicious and hearty, and the prices were worth it for the service and character. The comfortable rooms, easy location, and beautiful scenery made for a great stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The friendly staff is informative and the homemade food is a highlight, especially the delicious bread and cinnamon rolls. Amenities like lights, a hot shower, and satellite TV add to the cozy stay.

I recently stayed at Double G Service in Muncho Lake for an overnight stop on a long journey. The cabin-like room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and crisp white linens. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, offering the option of a powerful rush or a gentle stream. The hotel provided free wifi and a wide selection of TV stations. Outside, there was a fire pit and picnic tables for guests to enjoy. The owner even plowed the Alaska Highway for us before we left! The hotel also welcomed dogs at no extra charge, and breakfast at the on-site cafe was delicious, with generously sized bread toast.

The older man who worked in the morning and sat in the restaurant the rest of the day was extremely rude and nasty.
